Eagle View Guest House became ours in November 2004 when we left behind the hustle & bustle of Edinburgh life to settle here in Newtonmore.
Before we opened in May 2005, our time was taken up sympathetically refurbishing this lovely 200-year-old house with the aim of offering the homeliest bed & breakfast accommodation in the village.
The decoration & furnishings we’ve chosen are high quality - to meet your expectations as a guest. At the same time, they reflect not only the relaxed, comfortable character of the house but also our own personal tastes.
After all, Eagle View is our home, a home of which we are very proud and which we cordially invite you to share.
You’ll find Eagle View set back a step or two from the local road as it eases its way into Newtonmore from the South. It’s an easy stroll to the village shops and restaurants, enabling you to leave your car safely parked as you get a bite to eat or sample the wares of one of our locals.
Additionally, every aspect of this part of the Scottish Highlands is virtually on our doorstep. We are surrounded by magnificent mountains, wide open moors, rushing rivers, babbling brooks, tranquil glens & peaceful lochs. The whole area literally teems with wildlife and is, of course, steeped in Scots history.
